MONDAY JANUARY 7, 2002 Promo: Jen has been hiding a secret, but will the truth come out? (Will someone please pass me a barf bag? Is this character on everyday or what? ) Watch what happens next on OLTL. Segment 1 Nora begs Troy to give up on his plan. She presses him to find out why he is doing what he is doing. She accuses him of acting just like Colin. She tells him that regardless of his reason what he is doing is not making her feel better. Troy: Tell me something, Nora are you upset about what I’m doing or that I’m doing it with Lindsay Rappaport? The Planning Clinic calls Jen and talks to Cris. He says that he is own the way. Lindsay finds out the Jen’s counselor is Rae (Is there nothing this woman cannot do and does not do?) Al asks Jen why she is in a family planning center. Paloma tells Blair that she knows something about the baby. Before she can say anything, Todd grabs the phone and yells at her to never call there again. Segment 2 Blair: Todd, what did you do that for? Todd: Do what? Blair: You snatched the cell phone out of my hand and yelled at a woman who was nothing but nice to me. Todd: I don’t want a woman to call here from Mexico and upset you and make you all crazy again. Todd tries to make sure Paloma is still in Mexico and not calling on a cell phone from the driveway. Todd says that Paloma was just “dialing for dollars.” Blair is unconvinced. We won’t know why she called unless she calls back. Todd: I’m not going to let some woman call and remind you of the worst day of your life. Blair tells him that a call is not necessary because she thinks about the worst day of her life and the baby they lost everyday. Lindsay and Rae spar. Al presses Jen to find out why she is there. Jen dodges the questions (but let’s be honest Jen is not too bright.) but Al is not convinced. Troy accuses Nora of being jealous of Lindsay. Nora tells him that he is off base. She is worried about his plan because it is wrong and damaging. Sleeping with Lindsay is like selling your soul. Troy tells her that so far he has found sleeping with Lindsay charming. Nora: Because she is being seduced. It is when she thinks she is abandoned that she gets lethal. Troy brags about what he is going to do. Nora: You don’t get it. People don’t nail Lindsay, Lindsay nails people. Troy tells her that he thinks she wants him to continue and challenges to look him in the eye and tell him that she doesn’t want Lindsay off the streets. I know what you want and I’m going to give it to you whether you want it or not. (How crazy is Troy?) Blair: If Paloma calls back I want to talk to her because maybe she knows something about our son. Todd says she is just after the money. Blair thinks that maybe Paloma has information how the baby died and the cremation. Todd tells her she needs to forget all of that. Blair: I’m not going to forget, ever. I carried that baby in my body for a short while and I’m going to carry him in my heart forever. That baby in there is not our son. Todd: Suppose I tell you he is? Segment 3 Al accepts the fact that Jen is at the clinic for birth control. Al says that he hopes he can meet another girl as great as Jen (Please). They talk about the quarry sex. Al is telling Jen how grateful he is that she slept with him. Rae tells Lindsay that there is only one counselor today. Rae guesses that it is Jen who is pregnant. Lindsay says they are leaving but Rae convinces Lindsay to bring Jen in. Lindsay goes out into the hall and sees Al. She acts innocent: Al, what are you doing here? Did Jen tell you? Sam runs into Cris in the hall and wonders where he is going. Troy continues to spin that he is doing this for Colin. She states that there is nothing between them and she wants no part of him. As she gets to the door, she is greeted at the door by Sam and Matthew. Blair: You are not making any sense here. That is not our child. Todd tells her to make herself believe that baby is hers. Take what’s true and look at it in a different way. Todd tells her that the important things like what she gives of herself, her love, etc.are going to be a big part of the kid and it’s like there’re the same tiny little person and the hurt will go away faster. Blair: You haven’t forgotten out baby either. You brought him into the world your heart bonded with him even though you thought he was Max’s. Todd: You just bond with this baby and it will be like nothing happened. Like he is the same baby. Blair: I know what you are doing. I know why you are saying it is our baby. Todd: You do?
Segment 4 Blair tells Todd that he is afraid that now that he has everything he is afraid he might lose it. Todd: What are you talking about? Blair: Happiness except for the baby we lost. You are afraid that one tragedy will wipe out all we have. Todd: You’re right. Blair: People do it all the time. It is called denial but you don’t have to do it because we have it all here. The future can be as wonderful as we make it. Do you believe me? Our baby died because of the mistakes we made but we have to trust that we can make it right. I love you. Starr loves you. And that sweet baby boy in the next room is going to love you like crazy so that hurt scared little boy inside of you doesn’t have to worry because we have so much to look forward to. Todd says that Starr is waiting downstairs with a surprise. Jen gets Lindsay alone and tells her about her birth control lie to Al. Rae tries to talk to Jen alone but Jen insists on Lindsay staying. Segment 5 Nora tells Sam that Lindsay is not going to take Troy’s friendship away. She has taken too much already (WTH?). It turns out that the surprise was a photographer. Todd and Starr planned a family portrait. Blair is very pleased. I can’t believe you set this up behind my back. Todd: Well, everyone has a gift. Blair: I’m going to have to keep my eye on you, Mr. Manning. Todd grins, “Really.” As they pose for the shot, Todd, sees the photographer morph into Paloma who begins to talk to him in Spanish. Todd makes a shocked facial expression as the shot is snapped. Segment 6 Cris and Lindsay spar. He realizes the pregnancy test was not Lindsay’s. He tells Lindsay to move but she begs him to leave Jen alone but he barges in just as Jen says, “I can’t tell Cris the truth.” Al buys a clue. Nora tells Troy that Lindsay is never going to confess to anything regardless of what he does. Sam, Nora & Matthew leave. Sam tells her that Troy made his choice to put his faith in Lindsay. Nora of course is not willing to let it go. Paloma: You no smile because you are a bad man. You will never smile again. Todd says I’ll smile but Blair says, That’s a smile? You look like you lost your best friend. Todd: I don’t have any friends. Blair: You have me. Starr: You have me. Mommy, is Daddy ticklish? Let’s see. They begin to tickle Todd to get him to smile. Really cute. The camera cuts to Paloma who is talking to a priest in Spanish (Sorry I can’t read the crawlers!) The scene ends with a snapshot of Blair, Todd, Starr and Jack smiling from the tickling session. Previews: No T& B Asa & Gabs Jessica & Vicki Jen, Al, & Cris
